Guardian

I need you, guardian angel,
To watch over what I see and say,
Help guard my every thought and move,
Against influences that come my way.

Temptation camps all around me,
More evil people surface every day,
Protect me from my oppressors,
And all the traps they lay.

Keep me walking on our Father's path,
Do not let me stray,
Guard me through lifes daily challenges,
Come whatever may.

I thank God for your services,
Every time I stop and pray,
If you get weary and need to rest,
On my shoulder you can stay.
